Jake Alan Dennison was born on January 21st, 2009. He was born with HLHS and lost his tough battle 19 days later. He was such a joy to have for those 19 days.

During Jake's life, some sweet friends of ours gave Jake 2 special blankets made from ultra-soft fabric called minky. He LOVED to snuggle in his blankets.

Just after Jake passed away, our family and friends sewed minky blankets to donate to other heart babies-the start of Jakey's Blankies. This is a way for us to honor Jake's life and bring comfort to other families whose babies have heart conditions.
